README.TXT for Multi-Print Ver 1.00, Copyright(c) by Gregory H.Bragg March 1995 *********************************************************************** PLEASE NOTE: To reduce the overall size of the MLTPRNT1.ZIP file, this time around I have not included VBRUN300.DLL in this BBS Shareware release. If this file is not in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory you can download it from the Microsoft Basic forum (GO MSBASIC), the Microsoft Software Library (GO MSL) or from most forums on CompuServe. If you still are unable to find it, I can send you VBRUN300.DLL via CompuServe E-Mail. You must install it in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory for Multi-Print to run. *********************************************************************** GETTING STARTED: AFTER READING THE LICENSE AND WARRANTY INFORMATION BELOW, FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO INSTALL MULTI-PRINT: Place the diskette into the appropriate drive on your system. From the Windows Program Manager, choose the "File, Run..." command. In the Command Line field of the File Run dialog, type the drive letter, followed by a colon, then type "\setup.exe" into the field. For example: a:\setup.exe Click on OK, and the install process should initiate. If the uninstalled distribution already exists on your hard drive, (you unzipped it to there, for example) you can install from there by entering the full path name to setup.exe in that directory. *********************************************************************** For a general description of Multi-Print, run the help file from the menu when Multi-Print is running, ie: "Help, Contents" All material in this software release is Copyright(c) 1995 by Gregory H. See the DISCLAIMER and LICENSE below for how you may use this software. Contents of this file: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE DISCLAIMER LICENSE HOW TO REGISTER CONTENTS OF DISTRIBUTION SET *********************************************************************** DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE: Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it beyond the trial period, you must register. Copyright laws apply to Shareware software products, and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific exceptions as stated below. The author specifically grants the right to copy and distribute the software, either to all or to a specific group. For example, some authors require written permission before a commercial disk vendor may copy their Shareware products. Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You should find software that suits your needs and pocketbook, whether it is commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes fitting your needs easier, because you can try before you buy. And because the overhead is low, prices are low also. Shareware has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you do not use the product, you do not pay for it. *********************************************************************** DISCLAIMER: Users of Multi-Print must accept this disclaimer of warranty: Multi-Print is supplied as is. Gregory H. Bragg disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose. Gregory H.
